Tim
Tim Gilpin has practiced law in Oklahoma since 1986. He has had his own practice since the early 1990s. After law school, Tim worked for several Tulsa law firms, then proudly served Oklahoma as an Assistant Attorney General and member of the Oklahoma state Board of Education at the state Capitol. Tim was also the 2018 Democratic nominee for Congress (OK-1).
He worked his way through college and law school, attending George Washington University and the University of Tulsa Law School. Right out of law school Tim began practicing law, putting together settlements and trying cases, in the areas of personal injury, wrongful termination, work place harassment and discrimination.
Tim was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he lives and has two children in Tulsa Public Schools and is active in community affairs. Tim Gilpin has practiced law for over 35 years and has been active in community and state civic matters, including the Tulsa County Bar Professional Responsibility Committee, on the Board of the Tulsa Arts & Humanities Council and a Board Member for The Parent-Child Center of Tulsa, on the Mayor’s Commission on Concerns of the Disabled, the Public Policy Committee of the Mental Health Association in Tulsa, a United Way Investment Panel member, and as a Vestry member, Lector and Usher at his church. Tim has also been a member of the Southeast Tulsa Jaycees and the Tulsa Rotary Club.
