In Oklahoma, you cannot be fired because of your race, sex, pregnancy, on-the-job injury or because you filed a legitimate Workers' Compensation claim. There are other public policy exceptions to the general rule of "employee at will" status in Oklahoma, but it gets complicated fast and different time limitations apply to different sets of facts. Time is important in the success or failure of these cases and the pitfalls of waiting too long or going it on your own are too many to list.
